Lately, I’ve been realizing that I don’t really enjoy reading anymore. I’ve been reading every day for years usually at least 5 chapters, sometimes up to 50. Do you think it’s time for me to find a new hobby? The thing is, reading has become such a part of my daily routine that it feels weird to just stop. It’s also cheap, easy, and something I can do pretty much anywhere. What hobbies would you recommend that have a similar vibe something inexpensive, easy to get into and that I can do regularly?
I've come across this at different times in my life, honestly I'd suggest pursuing other formats like fanfiction, derivative comics, visual novels, etc. to keep things fresh I usually juggle between novels and comics, with VN on the side.
Do you have any recs you personally like? Like where should I start? Nini
for fanfiction I look into fandom spaces I’m already in, other derivative works I just cruise social media tags, as for visual novels or novels, it really depends on what you like. There are some directory sites that will help you magnate with tags, like found family is one of my favorites, there’s unreliable narrator, or clever protagonist is also a tag I like looking into. Curate your space and try new things!
Hm its fine if your over reading, maybe you'll feel that spark after taking a break, personally I like gaming, I think getting into writing would also be fun, you could get into graphic designing/editing, or start watching shows and movies, crocheting or knitting also sounds cool or you could get into drawing or coding, take free online courses on topics your interested in maybe? That's all I could cook up for now

I game sometimes too. What games do you play? I might also get into drawing. Do you have any good channel recs for beginners?
Change up the genres you read
I already do that pretty often but I still get bored sometimes. Do you have unusual or unique recs?
I got a list idk if you read most stories but maybe you'll find something new https://www.mangago.me/home/mangalist/2909111/
