Cornell Rape Case
For those who don’t know, in September 2026 a former student of Cornell university filed a lawsuit as Jane Doe saying she was drugged with alcohol, marijuana and ketamine and gang raped at the Chi Phi fraternity house on October 2024 when she was 20. 7 male students raped her for 7 hours and other 50+ men in a groupchat knew about this and did/said nothing. At the time she reported it to the Cornell university police a few weeks after it happened but no criminal charges were filed at the time. Now the case has been reopened and it gained massive attention thanks to the hashtag #iamjanedoe. Guess what? The university decided that an “educational” essay was the adequate punishment for these seven guys involved. A fucking essay. What are yall’s thoughts on this?
....ESSAY for S.A?? its disgusting!!
It happens way too often and it gets swept under the rugs.
Its a joke watching them trip over their 'White Privilege' trousers.
I pray ALL 57+ EVERY r-ping loser out there is seen by a jury of ALL WOMEN.
Fucking Cunts

it's sad that this is one of the many SA causes that happened in cornell and NONE of it got big as this one. same goes for harvard, yale, and other top institutions!! if men find it hard to believe the victim in this case, imagine what they'll say if the perpetrator is a pastor? a police officer? a FATHER? what's worse is that IT'S NOT A RARE CASE!...... reply
not gonna lie, this is more of a reddit talk than mangago but anyway anyone with sane head can see that the system is fucked. and this is unfortunately one of millions of rape cases all over the world that had it's chance to be loud, the majority doesn't have that kind of opportunity and let's say the rapists often gets away. reply
glad they reopen the case, those men should be ruined, their arguments were always like "that will ruin the boys lives" as if the woman who got raped wasn't ruined after that, it's crazy work to expect essays will do a thing
well anyway glad we got to know about this case and hope she gets the justice she deserved

Over 50 people were a part of this group chat and not one of them thought of contacting security or the police to see if this girl was fine. granted I'm not going to say that all of them even noticed the message but it feels like the ones who did see it participated in letting the poor girl be rape by not "betraying" the bros. reply
yea this case is disgusting and rly horrible...my heart goes out to jane doe and all the female students currently attending cornell :( the situation generated a lot of backlash towards cornell and understandably so but this goes to show that sexual assault actually happens a lot in universities including elite ones and goes unnoticed. my girls ple...... reply
