need advice
tomorrow i have a doctors appointment yada yada about my cycle etc that aside, should i tell my gp how i've been feeling recently? recently i have had no motivation to do anything, ive even missed days of uni, i cant even remember what i ate yesterday or this morning. i just want to isolate myself in my room
i just feel like life has no point, like there is no point of life? lol idk how to explain it. do you think they'll take me seriously? i dont know anymore lol i just want someone to talk to
yea, if you have time during your appointment, I think gp's can prescribe certain medications if your symptoms are severe, or at least refer you for talking therapy.
Though it needs a bit of time so you might wanna/ need to get a separate appointment for that 2 reply
idk what ur gp is like. whether they take u seriously or not, that doesn't mean it isn't serious. it is. sometimes u do have to push them and be persistent about how this is affecting u. act like it's serious bc i found when i was nonchalant they'd match my attitude.
my personal experience is they put me on antidepressants first visit, which shock...... 1 reply
