So... I just got a 63%. As someone who's done well in school all their life this is kinda hard to take. The one saving grace is that my professor lets us retake the 3 lowest scoring questions, and if I do perfect on those I could bump my percentage to a 83.75% which is wayyyy better of course. But I also don't know if I can do that, it seems I'm not as good at ochem as I thought, and I made a ton of simple errors that frustrate me right now to no end.
I have taken all these exams....you did well don't worry. My professor was like "Just pass" OCHEM2 is easier. I had OCHEM3 too. Just make sure you study strategically for what actually gets most points if you wanna get better grades. I had access to previous exams from that professor so I studied based on those. Finding a study buddy is best choice for these.
I remember when I did OCHEM courses forever ago. It was definitely a humbling experience but trust when I say that everyone else probably did just as bad as you and there will def be a curve maybe at the end of the semester. OCHEM1 is tough bc it really is just a shitton of stereochemistry but OCHEM2 is much better with reactions. Those are more like puzzles and easier to grasp, at least for my brain.
