me and my irl friends are really into an RP game, except my friend are in it for the concept while I'm for the RP part. it's an Roblox Rp game set in Edo period. and I can only see msg from people my age group while they refuse to do age verification. might be a good move on their part tbh but I'm Indonesian my personal information is already sold and distributed by the government so why not lol.
I'm really bad at roleplaying and talking and interacting fuhhh I feel like I wasted one opportunity for a confused ghost and a scaredy cat male geisha story because of my inability. thank god there's another person that can rp with that person and not ruin his roleplay.
so I ask a friend how to roleplay. this person made nsfw renders and rp a lot in FFXIV I don't remember which one but I think of them as an experience roleplayer. I also want to be closer to them since I stop playing our mutual interest, we no longer talk as often. and further context, our first time we met they're a puppy, and they wants me to be the master. I have no idea how to be a master so I just brush it off half the time.
their answer is they need to see me roleplag in order to give advice they wants to rp with me I'm mortified. I'd be scared if it turn nsfw, but even if it isn't, how tf do we roleplay just with msg... role-playing in game is easier since my *character * can do something before I say something, i also feel more like my character but in dm? with blank chat screen mirroring back my own face? yeah I'm cooked. I'm lost.
Omg I used to RP a lot with a friend on Roblox because they were matching interests for Renaissance Era story. Back then I did chat roleplay which was very common so it has to do a lot with describing your characters actions too T_T

samee I literally play as the npc I don't talk unless spoken to and I get really awkward and boring omg but it's so fun when you get to a fun server and people involved you in their story I didn't quit the game just bc of that
