u cant even search by author so if I want to dig up some random manga ill have to scour the internet for the 20 alternative names and type them in one by one hoping and praying that one of them pops up
You can search by author, artist, title. The trouble is it will only come up if the manga was credited to that name by the poster. I have found some by using the name of the author of the original story instead of the creator of the manga based on the story. It is the same with the titles. The titles of the mangas are not always on point either, but I think that is intentional incase someone is searching for the title for legal purposes. Sometimes a title will still bring the manga up as an "also known by" but again, that has to be part of the post with the story or it will not work. And to be fair to the original poster here in this thread, I have spent hours searching through the titles by thumbnails trying to find stories I had saved before the sight updatestripped everything away from me because the titles were so different, the author name was not spelled the same as I was inputing it, the artist name wasn't used at all, etc.

Usually just input the hangul/romaji of the story rather than the english/alphabet title.
