Ok I just finished ordering one because I genuinely found chokers as a cool add on for fashion but apparently wearing one signals that your promiscuous? And that shit just upset me. Every goddamn thing that a woman wear and do is labelled as something sexual gosh can the sun just explode already I'm piss af and that info just ruined mi night
People who say chokers are sexual are porn addicts who think with their ass because their brains are rotting with maggots. Chokers are absolutely goated, and me personally as an alt person it really makes my whole outfit come together so I like wearing it, especially the spiky and lacy ones!

First of all. There are several reasons why ppl might find it sexual, and this is due to representations of the past, bc previously it was linked to prostitution. and while that was indeed the case, it is not its true origin or meaning.
