I just spent a good chunk of my day completing this manga, the ending was shit but it brought me some joy that it was over, I kept thinking positively while reading because I thought it was trying to say something but after completing it, even while I read it, the more I think about it, the more I read about the production and now that I've simply finished it, it's just pure ass. It's almost like or just is making a joke out of everything while using the guise as 'psychological' just because it just so happens to bring a negative sense, which doesn't even make it a good psychological, too many people ignore intent when it comes to this genre. I'm already used to disguised tortureporn series doing this but this series just made me more mad about it than usual.
I'm not even forming my thoughts properly here but to sum it up, ig I feel a sense of rage for what this series could have been, if it wasn't written by a bunch of hypocrites who didn't even handle the topic well and done it in insincerily. It may not be in the base sense tortureporn, but it sure as hell has the same message as one. Metamorphosis all over again.
The bateren tales honestly handles it's research way better (you can read it on manga plus yes it is payable, yes I am hoping up a manga under a complaint rant what about it.)
