Over-hyped BL's

What BLs have y'all read but just didn't get the hype of it like everyone else? Personally I would say Painter of the Night (please don't hate me lol). Like it's really popular and everyone seems hella obsessed with it but idk... I love the art style and Nakyum is adorable, but it's not something that I think is out of this world or as good of a story as it is made out to be. I do admit it's probably partly bc I'm just not into the whole abusive, psychopathic love trope:/

YOURS TO CLAIM my expectations from this were already low but HOLY FUCK LOVE OR HATE stereotypical love triangle with annoying ass characters also i dont get the hype around bj alex, lial, window to window, if you hate me so much and a guy like you, theyre all shit. 2/10 wouldnt recommend. 4 reply
