howdy!! i just wanted to ask people if you ever got caught reading yaoi/yuri, idk i’m just rlly curious and i wanna know! My experience: i’ve been almost caught at least 7 times, yesterday i almost got caught 2 times, when i was rereading killing stalking on the couch and my grandma came home. Also a few days ago when my dad walked into my room rereading PotN. And when i had to pee so i bought my phone for entertainment and my mom walked in. many many more times. Anyway, i rlly wanna know ur experience !! (●'◡'●)ﾉ
Yes ahaha. The first time(maybe) was quite embarrassing for me cuz I got caught by male friends when they borrowed my ipad. And I forgot I had an open yaoi tab on, it was even on a page where the characters were doing 69 lmao. I can’t really recall what I said afterward but ye I died at that moment a bit. For some reason I always get caught by my sister when I’m reading ‘steamy parts’. I know that she probably knows and thats why I can’t insult my sister, I’m really afraid that she might tell our parents if she gets angry to me (⊙…⊙ ) reply
Never caught reading but my dad found out what I was into due to my having to correct my cousins on what yaoi was. The fools had the audacity to mix up yuri and yaoi, so as I was telling them the difference between the two my dad overheard the conversation and looked at me like I'd grown a second head.

yep! i got caught eariler today (by my homophobic mom) she called me a disgrace , sickening , and beat me lol . she says i have mental issues (and she thinks im lesbian which im not i just love yaoi) and told me to never look at it again~ yet here we are hehe. i love yaoi and will never stop reading it

Nope, I’ve never been caught and I live in one house with my two sisters and parents. I‘m too slick wid it. Also no one knows I read yaoi. No one at all. But then my sister also reads manga and she is actually the one who recommended mangago to me, but I know she reads action/shounen type things.
