When do you know that a certain Author makes yaoi for the lgbtQ+ ,and not to straight females in general? I am not trying to be rudeee here ok? No shade. Its bc i see a lot of girls talking nonsense all the time in the comments section about a lot of cr*p (not gonna say what okurrr?) And sometimes i really feel like BL mangas are just to satisfy females "fetishes"?
technically speaking no author makes yaoi "for" lgbt people, the books it's published in are marketed pretty strictly towards women (straight or not) there are probably some mangaka who write yaoi that are lgbt themselves, and there are certainly lgbt people who enjoy it but we aren't the target audience. bara is pretty much the only mlm manga co...... reply
“geicomi” is a genre of erotic manga made by and marketed towards adult gay men. however, nowadays the distinction between geicomi and BL are blurring as a lot of geicomi mangaka write BL manga too. if youre looking for a “realistic” same sex relationship portrayal though, geicomi might not fill that expectation because just like BL, geicom...... 1 reply
the best I could recommend are here u are and starting with a lie. im a bi woman so here u are and the themes of trouble with coming out resonate with me even if they are male. starting with a lie is written by a gay man so it also has a touch of realism.

I'm not gay myself, but I'm not straight either and I find "realistic" storylines so much more endearing than your typical PWP (bara included). When I'm looking for BL manga that appeal to me, I like to keep my eyes peeled for male authors, diverse and/or "manly" body types and personalities, a deconstruction or lack altogether of the seme/uke dyna...... reply

To be honest, the only way that will happen if is there is any money in it for them to do it. Once you show that there is a reason to invest in that niche then you may see more comics that go towards that way.
But as some research that I have seen shows.... men in general, regardless of sexuality, don't exactly like romances... reply
