I think it's because when they get jealous that their lover is talking to someone else in a friendly manner, they can just add a sex scene so it will get more attention. It's a very popular trope, to be honest.   1 reply

Because some people like the idea of having someone want them and someone that acknowledges the fact they could lose them. Also, some people just like the jealous type in fiction. Obviously, some take it too far, but, in the end, it's the artist's preference.   reply

True but lmaoo adults still act like this. Do you know how many times I've seen full ass adults throw actual tantrums because someone said have a good day and smiled at their partner?? Every time I go out and see someone desperately hanging onto their partner and making eye contact at people while doing PDA my hope for society dies a bit   reply
