i grew up with two parents: a father who was abusive and a mother who tried to protect us. my dad was really nice to others and kept his cool most of the time, but when he got angry at something i did then he would hit me, drag me up the stairs, lock me in my room, etc.

when i was 10 i told them i was trans and extremely depressed. i even told them i tried to die and i cut myself, but they didn't really care since the cuts were shallow. all they did was disown me and we've been a toxic family ever since.
