It’s VERY common for people to have crushes on fictional characters. Literally look at any fan base ever throughout the history of time. Reader x character fanfics and stuff has been a common thing for decades at this point- it’s not something people have batted much of an eyelash at. But I think it’s when someone becomes too intense about it......
