QUESTION! (how the flip do I word this…)

So…

Does a person who was born with an inherently bad mentality, but was only ever a good person because that’s what they wanted for himself and those around him, deserve happiness? (so like they never did anything bad despite having the mentality to do so) For example, let’s say there was a person (this is gonna be an extreme example ) who, for whatever reason, knew he would enjoy the act of taking lives, but didn't and never would want to because, basically put, he wanted to be a good person, (to which he succeeded in doing) still deserve happiness? (like the right to love himself and the joy of living, things of that nature)

Yes, the example sounds contradicting (please ignore how contradicting it sounds )

I know this is a heavy question for a manga site

A type of MC that has been on my mind the past week that I would like to see be written one day (or if already) is a very timid, very low self-esteemed, a scaredy-cat, and depressed written MC (to which the MC is either written comically or maturely), that really highlights the weak side in people, but is still an overall serious person who strives to be someone who is not a total failure. Oh, and of course, this type of MC has gotta be a good person to boot. Plus, no matter how the story progresses, I would like to see such a MC still in tuned with his roots.
Man, I Hope what I wrote made sense.
Also, I hope you all can feed my curiosity.
Thanks.

Hello fellas! So the troupe in question (and mostly about a specific detail in regards to it) that I am very curious to hear opinions about (for a long while now ) from this community is none-other about the troupe (in my own name)---> Reincarnating/transmission (from being an adult) into a child's body (while still retaining their adult soul) and proceeding to falling in love with someone of their “own age”. In my opinion, if said romantic troupe is as word for word as my description of said troupe, than I absolutely DO NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL, LIKE NOOOOOO, WHHYYYYYY!!!! LIKE WHHHYYYYY DO YOU HAVE TO BE AN ADULY MENTALLLYYYY????!!!?!?! ITS WRONG DAMMIT!!! Why can't, for any romantic transgrimiton or reincarnation troupe, why--for the love of God--can't the author make the character, in their own unique way, be an actually child through and through who just so happens to know their past life (in which doesn't dominate their current child state of mind) and is therefore just frikin intelligent---BUT IS STILL A CHILD THROUGH-AND-THROUGH?!?!!? I WANT THEM TO BE A CHILD NOT AN ADULT IN CHILD SKIN!!!!!!! FRICKIN’ ****!

(it would be awesome to hear your guys opinions on this .)
