Hahaha! I used to think that a long time ago. After reading yaoi for so many years, I realized that I have phases where I'm obsessively reading it and try to find really good ones, then I stop reading for a while. It became a cycle. I'm currently in my obsessive phase right now.

First anime is Dragonball of course.. It was always on TV. I also watched a lot of Sailor Moon, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho ETC on TV.
The first anime and manga I bought that was in Japanese was Inu Yasha. That was my childhood :) It's also the reason why I became a Japanophile.
