For me personally, I really liked the site because it felt like people were nicer. A lot less bullies and bullying than on here. But I had a hard time reading on there because they had advertisements and they would pop up all the time. It could get a little annoying. Bato, you shall be missed!   reply

While I don't really "self ship" any more, I don't think it's wrong or weird either. It's just people using their imagination. For some people, it's a form of escaping a reality they are unhappy with, even if just for a little bit. From loneliness or unhappiness, or for whatever reason. I've seen people use other's lists and reading history against them in arguments. One in specific was an argument about toxic stories and rape. One person who said it is just fantasy kept getting ganged up on and people were being really nasty to them. No matter what their opinions, nobody has the right to bully a real person.
