Idk, my attitude in general is that it's good (even if it's not necessarily 1:1 with reality) to include people from diverse backgrounds. I don't know, I've never really had a native English speaker make a comment on it (I don't really speak in English that much irl and I almost never interact with foreigners). It depends on what I'm reading and what state my brain is in that day. When I do listen to music is mostly Ichiko Aoba, I think. It paired really well with Totsukuni no Shoujo and Little Forest :)) I also have a post rock playlist that I listen to when I read something more on the bleaker side.
