I'm getting a bit tired of when there's a romance and it's just starting to work out and then SUDDENLY LOVE TRIANGLE when there was no previous set up for it, especially when it's a character who's just been friends with the characters for ages with no sign of having a secret crush but SIKE they do. 'Romances' where one person is constantly saying "no, stop, wait, don't" and the other person doesn't ever listen to them and this is supposed to be considered romantic. If every time they touch one person is saying no, why is that supposed to indicate they're in ~love~??   reply

It's seriously not that hard to learn a character's name if you're reading and commenting on a story about them rather than just calling them the "role" you've arbitrarily assigned them in a relationship. It's the possessiveness that gets to me; people can have whatever preferences they want in the stuff they like to read, but you don't get to deci......   reply
