Heyo!! I’m trying to create a manga team so if you’re good at art, writing, coloring, etc. please read this :3

So a couple of weeks ago, I wrote a post about writing one-shots upon request and posting them here on Mangago. Some others mentioned that they wanted to work on the project too, so I decided to open the project to the community :D

There are some roles we need fulfilled:

- Writers (1 or 2 more after me)
- Scriptwriters (2 or 3 after me)
- Artists (3 or 4 after a couple of people already recruited)
- Colorists (idk how many yet, we'll see depending on the number of artists)
- Typesetters (also idk yet)
- Editors (1 or 2)

To make the process easier, I made some Google Forms as a kind of "audition". Here are the forms for those of you interested:

There's no form for typesetters because I want typesetters to be people who are also artists or scriptwriters. Also, keep in mind that you can opt for multiple positions! You only need to submit each form once.

Honestly I hate taking part in drama but I feel like this is really a thing we should be talking about

I get that India has given rise to a new variant of Covid, I get that in a crowded place like India people are even more prone to contracting Covid, but hating on Indians because of living conditions they can't control and then dragging religion into it? That's really low.

People in India are struggling to survive. Crematoriums are completely booked and you're making fun of people's bodies being burned in dog parks. Have some empathy, or at least pretend you do. There's no reason for you to be hating on people who have so little control over their own living situations.

Obviously those who can afford it are trying to get vaccines, wearing masks, and being mindful about the dangers of Covid. But there are just so many poor and uneducated people on the streets of India that it becomes difficult to control. Rather than hating on India for spreading the virus we should be doing things in our power to help, even small things like signing a petition to deliver vaccines over there or donating towards resource management.

Yes, I am Indian, and yes I have family there (but I live in the US), so obviously I'm a bit sensitive towards hate on my country and culture. Anyway, that's all of my rant, just please be mindful of other countries' circumstances.

I don't know if you guys heard, but I just found out that Kentaro Miura died... apparently he passed away on May 6th but we just heard the news yesterday. It was released on Twitter by Berserk Project.

(If you don't know who Miura is, he's the one who wrote the manga for Berserk).

What's popular right now? I know POTN has been all the storm lately but what are some smaller ones that are gaining popularity recently? I saw Pearl Boy on trending so I started that one, and ik a lot of ppl are talking about 19 Days and Banana Scandal recently... so I'll probably pick those up at some point soon.

Also, what are the yaoi "classics"? I think I've read/tried to read most of them, but drop them here just in case ╮(￣▽￣)╭

So I've noticed that there's a lot of hate and drama going on, especially surrounding Fruity Loops (who was terminated but she's back lol), racist/homophobic people on the site, and just people throwing shade and spreading toxicity in general

Also there are the cursed questions... the "am I the only one or did you guys also ***"... you know what I'm talking about

I'm considering writing short, pure and wholesome one-shots as per request and I'll just post them as experiences on the site! I'm a bit busy atm so I might start them once summer break rolls around... but I just want to know how many of you would be interested. They'll all be fluffy and smut-free and can act as eye-bleach for you if you see something troublesome

Honestly I feel like this place could be a really nice community if we just all be a bit nicer to each other... the environment is really toxic here rn (probably because so many people flocked over here from tiktok... oopsie) and I just want us to get along
