People accept mid art styles because of the smut imo. I think forgiveness not always equals accepting the person back into your life. Like, I forgive so I can let go of the grudge and let it stop hurting me. It doesn't mean there'll be a second chance to come back to my life because our story ended.   reply

Idk but I so understand you for not backing down after getting too far and now having to power through something you hate. But I gotta be honest with you, I never read a Zig novel from beginning to end exactly for this reason. I skip ahead and read just the part that interests me.
