My anxiety always makes me think my friends hate me which leads to me putting in less effort to talk to them or see them as to not to annoy them and then the friendship gradually ends because of that. I think unrequited love is worse because you can feel the pain of not being loved back, and not being able to do much to change the situation. When you're unable to love it hurts others, but it doesn't really hurt you.   1 reply

I think my favorite character was Laurie's grandpa because although he was a background character, he actually did so much for the girls by giving them food, and giving their youngest sister a piano. I don't hide it nor do I talk about it with just anyone. I've only told like three of my guy friends that I trust wouldn't look at my differently for it. One of them didn't care, one actually read it ahha, and the other did make fun of me LOL   reply

I don't think you should cut ties. Honestly, as you said, it's very normal for people to respond less as you run out of things to say or as you get busier. I'm sure she's just caught up with other things, and not just ignoring you because she doesn't like you or something.
