I think the best way to describe why is to use an example Your a new author, your be assign to write a book or have a book to write. But your editor who only have a budge let's say 3k (it unrealistic ofc but it an example . Can only allow u to write a series with around 3-7 chapter or just a one shot. To finish a story.
