Tbh the best option is backing up your digital books on a cloud and a external hard drive and maybe a backup pendrive to be safe. Tbh the logic of "what if I lose it or i dont have a device w me" can be apply to real books, you can't have them on you all the time and what if theres a fire? You could lose them too
