Intention. In manga you usually have dialogue, inner thoughts and inner monologue In anime they dont always add all of them, just make do with actions. So sometimes you see characters acting a certain way "just because", meanwhile in the manga you got written exactly what they acted that way Is overall the same difference from books to movies imo   reply
