I think is the first time hearing this actually happening. In my country is the same, bc exams are basically considered a document you can NEVER turn it in if its written in pencil. Im more shocked that a professor told you it was okay to do so
To take any exam is basically going "do i have my ID, pen and paper" a 100x before even going in the room......
