This question striked me after someone asked the 1st yaoi without telling the title..
This is a just a tribute..
The yaoi that actually hit me personally is definitely "Tied up in Twins"... Why that of all the existing bls??
Because one of its elements is actually about friendships being broken because of their desires, hidden negative attitude and motives surfaced... And this resolution of this friendship ended up them eventually split up with unresolved issues and new outlook of each other..
Story time! : I had a best friend who I am close for how many years and I am now in the same post graduate school as her (she is a repeater btw) .. I did not excel there and literally I was failing and when whole school year is finishing up.. I have lost all hope and just go there and not do a thing cause I am literally in a state that I could not save my grades, whatever I do... Like I faced the music.. I am on rock bottom.. That is it.. And we had a terrible fight because of that..
She keeps on telling me to finish the fight and aim high.. And just hope to repeat the same year and not face expulsion.. But I did not listen to her.. Telling her, it is too late too correct anything.. And she got pissed off at me for being too negative... And I responded... It is fine for me to the expelled than repeat.
And months later.. She blocked me off saying she does not care about me and we better end up being strangers... That one really hurt me.. But I know, it is my fault that did not heed to her words and listened to myself.. It is just it hurts that our years of friendship ended that way..

Given the open opportunity of watching this movie in my aunt's house and the sheer ignorance of the residents.. I was able to actually watch this at last to silence my curiousity.
In the dance aspect, as a non dancer I can feel the rift, tension and different projection of passion from the leads. I also love the female partners of each. They have good chemistry in dance with the leads and are reasonable women. Really open to challenge and helpful to one another.
Romantically though, there is tension but the development of emotions felt random
