everyone already read them and they're completed, or the majority of people have already read them. also jp has a slower update schedule than manhwa sometimes. manhwa is weekly pretty often, but some jp are released in volumes so it takes more time for them to get out. it could also be that jp doesn't have the tropes that people like jp isn't co......   reply

I find most yaoi readers to be lacking in love or brains, so they think the "I need you no matter what" trope is good (which, frankly is where most of that shit comes from) because they know no one will ever like themself like that. Some of it is also probably the 'forbidden-ness' of it. Like, BL is still viewed as pretty ig forbidden in some sens......   1 reply
