It depends on the story and how certain things are executed, hardcore stuff does turn me off or when the bad stuff just keeps on piling up without any sort of relief/solution in sight.
Annoying/Illogical MCs are going to make me drop a story pretty fast - if the MC is annoying then that's torture specifically aimed at me, a Morally Grey MC is at ...... reply
