Me personally, I prefer dick girls but I usually tend to stray away from stories where the guy has a pussy, but generally it is not that bad Your acting like a pussy is some sort of alienatic monster that can destroy humanity. Simply just avoid it and move on, it is not that hard.

Slice of life appreciation is music to my ears, my top genres are slice of life, comedy and shounen.
Although I have my personal complaints about comedy and shounen, slice of life has really never done me wrong before and like you said I find slice of life bittersweet which is why I'm so fond of it,
