I only started reading Yaoi, or even watching any kind of porn for that matter, a few years ago. I talked to my sister about it at the time but that was pretty much it until very recently when a close friend and I were joking about hentai... and then the floodgates opened and now we talk about everything. You sound a lot like me actually! I'm hitting 30 and single but every year is better than the last. I love my job, I love my friends, I love where I live and I don't feel I need to change that right now. Would I like to get married and have kids one day? I will forever remember Makai Ouji, the anime, as the thing that lead me down the road to Yaoi. What's funny is that Makai Ouji barely hints at boys love but after watching it, there was something I liked about it but couldn't figure out what exactly. The first yaoi I started reading was Crimson Spell, and then I was like "Man, this is way too graphic for me" and then I read Totally Captivated and loved it and then I couldn't stop reading Yaoi. Eventually I went back to Crimson Spell and now I laugh at how I thought it was too graphic.   2 reply
