When one of the characters had a secret crush on the other for YEARS and made a convoluted plan to get their crush. It can be well done, but a lot of the time it sounds manipulative. It's usually the big plot twist of the story and I'm already 4 of 6 chapters in, it's frustrating.   reply

1- Love at first sight, specifically when it leads to a confession in the first chapter when the characters know basically nothing about eachother.
