I agree, Characters have to have understandable motives. Nothing is better than being able to agree or disagree with a character, it makes them seem more human. I also agree on pacing, it kills me how a lot of the things I read don't use their formats to effectively convey appropriate emotional timing or even comedic timing. Can confirm that like 80% of the BL is trash. Sometimes I'll ask myself why tf im reading this trash when all I wanted was a romance with a good plotline that featured two main characters on equal footing.   1 reply
