I don't know why I'm like this, but somehow no manga, anime, book, movie, or whatever has ever really made me so sad that I had to cry. It depends on the genre of manga. If it's a manga with lots of action scenes, I really enjoy watching the animated version. In my opinion, some action scenes aren't as easy to follow in the manga. But putting that aside, there are so many great mangas that haven't (yet) been adapted into anime and if you don't read mangas, you're really missing ou......   1 reply

I really liked "Ikoku Nikki" too. Here are a few recommendations that deal with real life struggles and the mental health challenges that come with them.
