I feel like people use it as an excuse to not hear negative things about what they like, even knowing it is fully problematic or outright wrong. It's such a dumb argument, too. I am Muslim, live in a strict environment but, that's not stopping me!! Not going to lie but, I love Yaoi!!!!!! My parents don't know but, my younger brothers do and they don't care much about it.
