This is coming from someone that had seen very few of the original Backroom clips and rarely watches horror movies
I liked some parts, mostly at the start, like you said the opening shot was good and generally it had some great shots but that's about it.
I thought it was boring, the characters went pretty much nowhere and the backrooms somehow ......
