Depends on how the story is written and actually moves forward while the 'slow burn' is happening for me. A slow burn can easily get a dragged-out feeling if the story around the mains is the same crap situations over and over without any new development involved. Everyone has their own pov on how a story feels to them and slow burns are fab but ......   2 reply
