Not sure on ur age, but to me friends go into 2 categories. 'childhood/school/younger age friends' then ya friggin' graduate from high school and/or college and you then hit the work force and find a whole new set of older friends mostly. Never regretted for a second toxic people I dropped from my life.... BUT I made the decision. Sounds like you didn't! Someone pushed and/or manipulated into that choice.
