Being gay is not sin in the Catholic church. They're against homosexual acts just like how they're against using contraceptives etc those you mentioned. So the comparison still stands. I wouldn't be on this site reading pornographic content if I were devoted to religion. Lmao. I grew up Catholic. It was a pretty good experience, so I don't hate it. As I grew older, though, I became more of an agnostic theist. Who knows, maybe I'll return to my faith one day and change the course of my life. Lol   reply

I feel like romantic and platonic love are fundamentally different, even if you take the sexual aspect out of the equation. I wouldn't experience a racing heart or warm flashes with someone I only view platonically, nor could I imagine kissing them on the lips or cuddling. But that's just based on my own experience.   reply

This has been discussed a lot on some forums, even defending blood-related incest. They do have some interesting points but it mostly boils down to "it's between two consenting adults".
