i think it depends of the sensitivity of the guy.
for certain people it may be a very erotic place and for others absolutely not.

So to make it short , personally I began reading romance manga with shoujo but at some points I was bored of the majority of the shoujo who after some time , started to all look the same . And even now with the bl I start to think the same thing.
And I think that in shoujo sex is like sacred and in yaoi it come along with the romantic story.
