Do you want feedback on problems with things like verb tense and grammar? Eg.
“manages to lift his head just a bit. letting his upturned face catch the raindrops.”
Has no capital at sentence beginning, uses present tense v past tense (you started in past tense) and unusual punctuation mid sentence. So this would be better if it was like:

My parents answered any questions accurately from my earliest memory without going into anything too disturbing when I was young. Both my mom and dad were good with it all, even answering gay sex questions without getting weird. Tbh I think my folks are different to most parents, idk many friends whose parents were as casual as mine.
