I have a fondness for fruit tarts - the kind with a graham cracker like crust, custard and fresh glazed fruit on top... especially strawberries, kiwi, Mandarin Oranges and berries of any sort but blue. I also like Tres Di Leche cake.   reply

I'm Christian and actively avoid a great deal of the material here, but I really appreciate the custom list ability which makes it possible to organize what I do like to read.   reply

I waited until I got married and I have never regreted the decision. Some might think me a prude, but not only do you increase your risk of STDs when more than one partner is involved, but if you think about it, your virginity is something you can give away only once in your lifetime. It is truly a one of a kind gift! Once it's gone, it can't be......   2 reply

Let's see... I think my final chapter would be set it in the future. It would be a short epilogue. During the course of the chapter we will learn that she grew very close to her aunt and uncle, grew up, got married, had kids, and passed on the secrets of seeking happiness to them, but now she is an old woman, needs a cane to get around. Her chil......   1 reply

I know how to ride a horse, bake a cake, and have tried fencing (which is a little like sword fighting... right? Kinda... sorta... okay, maybe not so much as that - lol). I think t would be really cool to learn how to do car stunts like Ren did in Skip Beat!   2 reply

When I was younger and had bad cramps, the doctors regularly prescribed me 600 and 800 mg tablets of Ibuprofen (Advil) and would have me take 2 if it was really bad, but that was a long time ago. Not sure I'd recommend going over 800 nowadays, but regardless of the amount, make sure you take it with food. Ibuprofen can be hard on your stomach and......   3 reply

I wish I could introduce you to my husband. He's 6 foot 1, 200 lbs and quite masculine, but there is very little 'toxic' about him. He works hard to provide for our family, and still comes home and helps with chores. He also opens doors for me, carrys my heavy boxes, walks between me and the street in case something dangerous comes down the road......   2 reply

My favorite place for *reading* is MangaPark. It lets you choose from 1, 3, 6, 10, or all pages at a time and lets you make custom lists that include your bookmarks and the most recent update so it is real easy to see where you stopped compared to the last/latest chapter and they let you sort the titles in your lists 3 different ways. They also r......   2 reply

Giraffes have 'sponges' in their heads to absorb the rush of blood they get when they put their head down to eat/drink so their head doesn't explode, and that also supplies blood/oxygen to their brain until their heart can push the blood back up their neck when the pick their head up so they don't pass out. ~~~~~~~~ AND ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Platyp......   reply

I wish I could draw better than I do, but I haven't spent enough time at it to truly develop a my skills/style yet. But what will make you better, to a degree, kind of depends on what drawing style you want. Abstract, surrealistic, simple black line, or whatever, but if you are interested in a realistic style of drawing - living things - I have a......   1 reply

When I think of mangas they made me cry, one of the first that comes to mind is the end of Haou Airen (http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/haou_airen/ ). That's not how a wedding is supposed to end .   reply

It can be helpful to supply a sentence to provide context as some words can have more than one meaning, but if describing a story I would think it may be trying to imply the story is 'positive', and not wicked or deprived.   reply

There is a lot of stress and anxiety going around that is COVID 19 related. While it might be a bit indirect, maybe you could lay the blame (at least initially when talking to you Mom) at the feet of the virus. I'm sure the fact you can't get out, go to school and see your friends has contributed to your depression's current level, and that might......   1 reply

My first anime was Battle of the Planets (the Americanized version of Gatchaman) - it got me up in time for school every morning . I rediscovered anime as an adult after some surgery laid me up for an extended time. I found 'The Earl & The Fairy' when I was researching kelpie and the anime lead to reading my first manga by the same name. It ope......   reply
