My fave tropes are the single dad trope, the classic friends to lover/slice of life trope, and in the end any trope that involves realism when it comes to the characters' personality/behaviors. At first I didn't believe people could have "types" they were more attracted to, but Kpop just changed my view on all this.

The art style is super important for me, as well as the realism in the characters' psychology.
The art is crucial because it sets the atmosphere and the aesthetics of the story. Since manga is visual art, I don't think it's superficial to say that a story isn't necessarily worth is if the art is lacking in some ways.
