I think most 'average' looking characters are just made so to make them look more realistic. In a sense that asian people really don't have much variety to their hairstyles and such, you know?

For me it's definitely the military as a subject to let characters meet and fall in love.
Korean military service being mandatory for 2 years would make this perfect for people to meet someone and the setting including training and such would be incredibly interesting I think. reply

Because a fictional character does still not have the same connection to you as a real person, hence the response will not be as harsh.
