The day my family finds out is the day I go into cardiac arrest. Though my sister does know, as she also reads it sometimes. Oh but my friends definitely know. Every time we go to the bookstore and they lose me, they check the BL section first cause we all know that's my natural habitat. None of them read it, though. Except for one. And then we ge......   2 reply

I have a good amount of patience with characters, never having hated even Sakura or the various young male protagonists that are little bitches. However, other than Elizabeth, I really did not like Lenalee. I initially didn't know why, cause I thought her powers were cool and it seemed like she could hold her own. But something about her just seem......   reply

If we're being real here, I change depending on the type of person I'm with, soo..... I'd be like silently possessive though haha you know those characters who'll never say anything but they're saying a whole bunch of shit in the thought boxes and bubbles I'd be an amalgamation of that and Aki from Honto Yajuu, due to my strange clothes and tempe......   2 reply

I don't remember how I was really early on, though I still think I didn't like talking to people much. But when I transferred schools in the 2nd grade, I definitely remember hating everyone and not wanting to talk. It didn't help that everyone immediately started bullying me and making fun of me. There were some kids who tried talking to me, but ap......   reply

Hello Korean-Canadian, I am a Korean-American haha I'll be honest, I'm 26yo so if that like weirds anyone out, I totally get it. I honestly don't talk that much cause I'm always busy with work and cosplay anyway, but I am lacking in friends who know and like bl pft   2 reply

I understand what you're saying and if this is actually a thing that's happening, I can see why it can get annoying, since we lgbtq people face irl closet issues. I do see people sometimes saying "closet fujoshi", but I didn't think it was how a lot of people labeled themselves ??   1 reply

Pansexual agender, though both of those are due to me thinking gender is a social construct. I honestly don't care what you identify as, cause if I like you, then I like you. That being said, you'll see that I still refer to myself as a fudanshi. Yeap. I mean I'm sure I don't sound much different from all the other comments that may be mostly fe......   reply

I've become more open to the possibility, but me loving someone enough to be willing to marry them is so nearly impossible to begin with Everyone around me when I was little had so many troubles in marriage and the men called husbands, were always abusive and neglectful. Naturally, I'd grow up thinking marriage just means misery and pain. I know i......   1 reply

I don't remember which came first for me - pokemon or digimon. I don't even remember how old I was. Probably like late elementary or something cause I remember by the time I was 12, YGO was pretty new hahaha Didn't start to actually read manga until Fruits Basket, though. I had known about others, but never bothered to read them. That series is al......   reply

I mean My friends and I are all cosplayers, so we kind of all have to be weeb trash ahahaha we go to cons together and such I do have some friends who don't cosplay, but still love anime+manga+games I guess I'm also lucky that I grew up in an area where this kind of stuff was popular. Kids here are doomed to be trash like us.   reply

Wow yay I'm also 25, a fudanshi I mean I haven't dated in a while since it's kind of annoying to have to date someone. Also because I end up liking the wrong people anyway but that's like.... a whole different issue pft I only know maybe two people irl who actually like yaoi, and one of them is a total jerk, so I don't talk to them Almost everyo......   reply

I like it when the characters have to go through actual problems with the fact that they're not straight, which hits home for me as well. Especially the ones that deal with having an actual family together. It kind of helps me deal with my own problems.   reply

Oh I've hated hated hated my body for a long time and I still do. If I had the money, I'd do some major surgery on my body. My face isn't as much of an issue since ...well, everyone thinks I'm still a student hahaha I tried for years to love myself. Doesn't work. There are advantages to having what I have, I guess, but I just ugh do not want it......   reply

As an ultra queer person, I guess I got tired of seeing the typical tropes of straight romance ? I do appreciate whenever shounen/shoujo ai show the struggles of not being straight, or the even rarer struggles of being genderqueer. I am very aware about the difference between 2D and 3D though, to the point where my preferences between characters......   reply

Well. I guess one good reason is that I've been harassed and abused so much that such things don't sound like a good idea anymore. But I was never one to want to be in that kind of relationship to begin with. Everyone I've been with so from just happened to have the same mindset as me, and we were fine without getting a home run haha.   reply

Sit down for a classic story of a person who's liked a girl since high school, through college, and many years after that, while having to watch her go through many horrible relationships and being the person she cries or laughs to when anything happens. It sounds like the classic "childhood best friends" story except we never get together. How's t......   reply
