im curious to see other people’s reactions/opinions on this since my class gc is currently arguing against each other for some reason
watered down version of some of the stuff they’ve said:
“gay/trans etc people should be understanding that straight men/women wouldn’t like them since it’s just a preference and it’s the same as telling your friends about what type of girl/guy you like/prefer”
“people part of the lgbtq+ community have gone through a lot of shit at the hands of society and they weren’t allowed to ‘love who we want to love’ so why should we be the ones to be accepting of a straight man/woman’s preferences when half of society still doesn’t accept us”
anyways what do y’all think?

i still remember all the dodgy stuff people used to say and post
i remember there were certain users i trusted with my LIFE that’d always comment on questions/manga
and there was a thread full of things you’d regret searching up on urban dictionary (then i remember making my friends search it up…things like The Panamanian Petting Zoo…don’t search it up…)
