I agree that if u take an average not brilliant story then it doesn't matter bl or sl cause a plain romance plot is same everywhere. They even use the same phrases and same development and turns of events. But if u take a high quality story made by a talented author then i definitely prefer bl. U ll be fine, the stories that u like to read dont have anything to do about the real life partner that u ll get. I can tell u even more.
