I understand how you feel. I affect my parents the most. I feel very emotionally detatched-sometimes even disgusted. I can't look at my mom without feeling empty. She tells me how hurt she is by this, but I can't fake a smile (seriously, people tell me). She recently had surgery in hopes of removing pre-cancerous cervical cells.
