I mean, I wouldn't call it rude, but more indifferent/dismissive imo. If you're not close and you're talking about that person with someone else, it's fine, but if you say 'they're okay' if the person you're talking about is there with you...it's /probably/ a little yikes? It could hurt feelings if it's a potential friendship situation.   reply
