For me the top thing that makes a good story is consistent characters. Like if you're going to give me a boss as bitch keep them a boss as bitch around the love interest. Me and my friends usually mess around like this with each other this way. Like with insults/backhanded compliments. Sometimes I don't pick up when they're actually being a prick.
