I think the same. I read the previous stories again and I'm pretty sure that Keishi doesn't want to break up but he's testing Shingo. Maybe he wants to know if Shingo will fight and say that he loves him but he's frightened to lower his guard. Or maybe that Keishi starts feeling insecure because Shingo doesn't trust him. He's cruel with him but maybe it's because he wants Shingo to reveal his true self.

I see that everyone thinks Keiichi is testing Shingo, and tbh Shingo deserves it cuz its always Keiichi doing the chasing, but Keiichi is being so mean, and just now that Shingo is settling for him! As for Shingo, now that everything is ok he decides to be insecure again? I want to slap them both.
Shingo is an escapist by nature, he's not the kind to run after something, he is the kind to run away instead. Of course, that could be changed as ways of character development, but Shingo said it himself that maybe he can't change, so I guess he's not prone to doing any chasing this moment and that leads me to believe that Sensei is gonna drag this to a next book, or do something really painful to Shingo (that will probably turn out to be a misunderstanding, after all sensei is not Machiya Hakoto who likes to make us suffer with her great yet painful dramas Ç_Ç) so he can snap out of it and chase after Keiichi. I am particularly praying for the second one, haha.
I wonder if the scanlation group is ever going to update the chapters for better reading (I'm really tempted to clear and typeset it myself, if smo provided me raws and you allowed me to use your translation)
